Singing News...
Weaver Style
Last Updated: August 12, 2010
As fall approaches once again, I am excited about this new season in 2010 and here's why!!!
On a personal note, I graduated from Mount Union College on May 8th with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
with Honors. I am excited to announce that I have received a full-time position in the Plain Local School District working
with 8th graders! I am so thankful for all of your prayers and ask that you keep praying that I have a successful first year
as a teacher.
In addition, I am excited about the release of my NEW solo project that is on target to be released
in October! I believe the song selection of this CD will have something for everyone. Keep checking back for more updates.
As for The Singing Weavers, we have had a wonderful summer. Our tour was SO much fun! We saw old friends in
Mississippi, met new faces in Texas, and had a great time of fellowship in Branson.
Finally, like my last update,
I want to mention our current radio release "Let's Shine Together." This song is not only important to us as
a radio release but the song has such a powerful messsage to The Singing Weavers. It's not just a song, it's
our theme for this year. More than ever, we as Christians need to be shining lights and examples to the lost and dying World.
It truly is Harvest Time and we, the workers, have a job to do.
Until Next Time, Alyssia Weaver
